Great fish and chips, nice mix of crunchy chips and larger fluffy ones. Ordered, gave my name and then waited... Certainly worth the few minutes wait. A real treat without paying a huge price.

Will definitely be returning! Happened to turn down a road whilst searching for a food venue & could not not go here when the que was out of the door, I ordered a large cod with chips, my son a kids meal with a tub of chippy curry sauce & gravy all reasonably priced - I got served quickly and did not have to wait long outside for my meal before returning to my caravan. Will definitely be recommending this food venue to friends and family when they visit Cornwall

Ok, so these are REALLY nice chips!! Many fish and shops sell pale and soggy, chips that you think you want until its too late and your feel stodgy and horrible. These chips are golden in colour, taste fresh, and are soft on the inside and a little crisp on the outside. Well done team!

Our taxi driver recommended this spot and we were not disappointed. Excellent fish & chips! Small wait as staff was using new equipment for the first time but they were very apologetic and we were understanding. Would definitely go back.

Large cod is very large, perfect for two people. Chips were really nice. Good size portions for the peas and gravy, ice cold cans. Always come here when I'm in the area.

Up there with the best chips I’ve ever eaten, and perfect for me as I’m vegetarian, they use frymax! The best.

Don't be fooled by the very dated outside and inside decor as it's actually a very nice chip shop. The chips are delicious and my mate said his fish was very nice but I'm marking it down one star as I thought portions were small and the sausage was pretty good but I have had a lot better.

I can not see how this place has a single bad review. Large cod was huge, barely fit the tray, crispy batter, soft white flaky cod. Chips were perfect and the spicy curry sauce was delicious. In and out within 10 mins. Worth the drive, will be my new local.
